Whether you’re into rock or reggae, folk or funk, want to dance until your feet give out or sit back and soak up the sounds, we’ve prepared a feast of innovative acts to wet every appetite.

To celebrate 20 years of Noz in style we’ve sourced some serious live acts encompassing an eclectic mix of pop, ska, folk, funk, hip-hop and R&B, plus a whole lot more…

Goldfrapp, providing iridescent and intriguing synth-pop since 1999; The Selecter with their anarchic passion, led by iconic frontwoman Pauline Black and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson; We Are Scientists who describe their own style as “rock music of the thoughtful, sometimes epic, often loud, vaguely danceable, implicitly humanist variety”; Dub Pistols, whose motley crew have added a much-needed swagger to the U.K. dance scene; The Blockheads, a New-Wave English rock band whose lyrics provide a combination of poetry, earthy humour and deadly-accurate observations of British working-class life; Honeyfeet, with an infectiously danceable groove, guttural passion and impeccable style; Electric Swing Circus, a live six-piece fusion of saucy swing and stomping electro beats; Kiko Bun, who’s crafted a refreshing and contemporary sound based on the re-emergence of reggae, soul and golden era hip-hop; Slamboree Soundsystem, a collective of multi-skilled, revolutionary performers and musicians that put energy, passion and pure insanity into their unique immersive stage experiences; Spunge, ska-punk rockers with an an amalgamation of influences including The Clash and Sublime; The Lovely Eggs, a surreal-psych, punk-rock duo with a fierce ethos; Oh My God! It’s The Church, a raucous, interactive parody of a Deep South Pentecostal church brimming with the best soul, blues and disco tunes; Mad Dog Mcrea with songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies…

Camping: The Luxury Edition

Keen to camp but the thought of broken poles and missing tent pegs fills you with fear?

Up for the party but not for lugging your tent bag through the campsite?

With just a few weeks to go before Nozstock 2018, the excitement is setting in; but is the thought of turning up on site and having to set up camp playing on your mind? Would you rather dive straight into the arena and explore? Well we may have the solution…

If you’re looking for a little luxury, Zoobells will pre-pitch you a stunning canvas bell tent in their own private campsite complete with a sewn in ground sheet and beautiful bunting, perfect for those who are looking to rest their weary dancing feet in style.

In varying sizes and levels of lavishness, you’ve the choice to add comfy mattresses, Egyptian cotton bed sheets and rugs amongst other luxuries.

Get your hands on one here, but be quick – they’re filling up fast!

If you’re no Glamper but you dream of someone putting your tent up and taking it down for you then Camplight will be right up your street.

Arrive to a pre-pitched tent plus a sleeping bag, roll mat and chair. Not only that but you can forget about fighting your muddy tent back into its bag at the end of the festival as these guys will do it for you.

To top it off, as you kick-back whilst the rest of the festival pack up, you can feel good about yourself as all Camplight tents are handpicked from those abandoned at UK festivals, helping to clear events and reduce waste.

Pick yourself a tent and camping supplies here, or alternatively book one with your ticket on our ticket page

Interview: Macka B on how it all began, his new EP and more…

We caught up with British reggae artist, performer and activist Christopher McFarlane aka Macka B to discuss the beginning of his career and what he just can’t do without at a festival.

How did your career start?

My career started on Sound Systems in Wolverhampton playing in Youth Clubs. At first, just going to the record shop at weekends and bringing home music to play on the sound was enough for me. Carrying boxes and being part of the sound system was great. At home I  used to practice on the microphone but I wasn’t confident enough to do it in public. One day we set up the sound at a local youth club and I was left to watch the sound while the others got something to eat. Thinking everyone had gone, I picked up the microphone and tried it out. They hadn’t gone yet and they ran back saying ‘we didn’t know you could chat on the mic’. So from then I had to keep chatting on the sound.

What three things can’t you live without at a festival?

Music, water and vibes.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing at Nozstock?

Smiling faces.

What music are you working on right now?

Working on a new EP vintage style riddims.

We’re a big fan of your health is wealth video series…whats your favourite vegetable?

Callaloo.

What is your favourite memory from performing?

Performing at Jamaica’s Reggae Sunsplash for the first time and getting a great reception.

Macka B will be performing on the Orchard Stage, click here to find out who else is on the line up.
