Accessibility at Nozstock

Everyone should have the opportunity to attend and enjoy live music and festivals, no matter their access requirements and we want everyone to have the best time on our lovely little farm. Whilst there are some challenges in making a festival site accessible for all, every year we strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for all of you Nozzers.

We are always looking for ways to improve the overall Noz experience for you and always listen to feedback from our festival go-ers. We are the proud recipient of a Bronze award from Attitude is Everything, but of course, we are going for gold! Attitude is Everything work to improve Deaf and disabled people’s access to live music by working with the music industry to implement a Charter of Best Practice (and we think they are wonderful).

Nozstock

Some of the things that we do at Noz to make your experience a great one are; a dedicated accessibility coordinator who is there to answer any questions you may have before the festival and is available on site to ensure your time here runs as smoothly as possible; a separate accessible camping area; a separate and more accessible accreditation point and available induction loops. For full details regarding access at Nozstock, please go to our or request a comprehensive access guide from access@nozstock.com which outlines our festival terrain, areas, stages and everything else regarding accessibility.

If you are still trying to decide whether Nozstock is for you, have a look at our Social Story which lays out what you can expect. We can’t wait to welcome you to Nozstock!

Nozstock wins Outstanding Attitude Award!

Attitude is Everything is a charity that understand that live music is for everyone. They work to improve Deaf and disabled people’s access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry. Their help has been invaluable in improving Nozstock’s accessibility.

2016 saw the launch their inaugural Outstanding Attitude Awards – recognising festivals and venues at the forefront of innovative access for disabled audiences. Nozstock is thrilled to announce we are a winner – and one of only 3 festivals recieving an award.

We won the award thanks to our detailed online access information including photo guides, distances to key locations and a downloadable social story for people with autism and learning disabilities. We are really proud of our online information and are so pleased to be recognised in this way.

Big thanks to Jacob, Paul and all the Attitude Is Everything team plus of course big thumbs up to John and all the Noz crew that helped us win this award. Here’s our site manager, Rob, collecting the award and looking very smug indeed!

Nozstock receives a bronze Attitude is Everything award

Nozstock is very pleased to announce it has been awarded the Bronze Level on the Charter of Best Practice by Attitude is Everything, a charity that focuses on improving access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry.

To qualify for Charter status, live music venues and festivals must demonstrate exemplary access provision and an on-going commitment to improving accessibility for their deaf and disabled customers. With over 100 music venues and festivals already committed to the Charter, from large-scale events such as  Glasto, Latitude and The 02 as well as small-sized venues and now us, we’re all super chuffed! We did it!
