Commended in A Greener Festival Awards

We are very excited to announce that Nozstock has attained a Commended Award in the Greener Festival Awards 2014. Commended signifies a well-managed, environmentally aware festival.

We are so pleased to have won this award. A huge thank you to A Greener Festival and to everyone who put in a massive amount of effort to make Nozstock greener and cleaner than ever before. Of course, we’d want to give a special thumbs up to Kath and Jen, our queens of green. Our award is a contribution towards 50 trees planted in Festival Wood plus we have a lovely certificate to hang on Noz’s office wall.

WHAT ABOUT THE FANS?

If you have attended a festival in the UK or internationally this season, AIF want to hear from you.

There will be a panel at the Festival Congress in Cardiff on 18 October, for which we need contribution from festival attendees.
To apply to participate in the panel discussion and win a free conference and after party ticket to The Festival Congress, fill out this FORM.

This audience focused panel will explore: What makes the best experience of a festival, both in the UK and overseas? Are fans loyal to one festival? How important is the music line-up now? How important are additional activities and immersive elements? Has technology changed the way that people interact with festivals? What are the key issues fans face? What makes a dream festival scenario? What do you love and hate about festivals? What changes and improvements would you like to see from organisers?

The Festival Congress is a two-day conference and celebration taking place in Cardiff (17 – 18 Oct), featuring top festival/music industry speakers Rob da Bank (Bestival), Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Jude Kelly (Southbank Centre), Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury Festival) and many more. Info available on the website.
