DD Darillo

DD Darillo, is the musical brainchild of Cardiff-based and Boy Azooga member Dylan Morgan. Raised in the acid-soaked foothills of the Cambrian Mountains and inspired in part by the tales of the 70s rock icons who pilgrimed there for inspiration, DD Darillo’s music is somewhat infused with the sounds of theseghosts’s past. Tipping its hat to the progressive, soulful and psychedelic, DD Darillo seamlessly meld retro and modern influences with aplomb, from the likes of Dungen and Pond to Supertramp, Steely Dan, Squeeze and Frank Zappa. DD Darillo have been hotly tipped by the likes of Huw Stephens, Adam Walton and Janice Long. Championed by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 alike. The band are made up of members Oliver Beard (Bass, Backing Vocals), John Close (Guitar), Michael Blanchfield (Keys) and Alex Burch (Drums).
