Echo Gecco
It’s very rare to find a three-piece band that spans as many musical styles as Worcestershire-based Echo Gecco. Take Gong, David Bowie, The White Stripes, Oh Sees and King Gizzard and The Lizard, put them in a blender, flick the switch, et voila, you have Echo Gecco. The band write music where alternative rock and jazz undertones collude to deliver an infectious rhythm-driven sound delivered by drummer Jon Aymes and bassist “Keegs” Hoang to support the soaring vocals of guitarist Josh Hunt. This is the pulse that connects the artist with the audience and the musicians to each other. The band first started jamming together in 2017 until songs began to form and the idea of creating a band out of these jams was put onto the table over a pint of ale. With enough songs ready they decided to book a show in Birmingham and the band was ‘formed’. They live to play live and share their eclectic influences with an ability to be outrageously intense and solemnly tender within a single song. Now signed to independent record label Einganag Records, Echo Gecco have completed their first full length album “Self Titled”
