The young nomad, Jake Spicer, has been travelling the Australian outback for the past twelve months, exploring, writing and walking a path of discovery.

Along the way he’s been developing a sound, and new understanding of his musical journey.

Now returned to the motherland and combining influences from all parts of his musical upbringing, there is a fresh energy that is destined to be heard; echoing the sounds of early blues and folk artists such as Martyn Dylan, Gallagher and Drake, to name a few. Also merging in to modern stars of John Butler, Xavier Rudd and Seth Lakeman.

Spicer’s sound has developed a gritty folk-esque atmosphere, with an underbelly derived of the nineties’ four-to-the-floor stomp. This topped with a mind-altered view of landscapes so far explored.
