Octo Pi‘s style of drum ‘n’ bass can only be described as ‘up front,’ with most of his tracks featuring punchy drums coupled with complex melodic basslines, set on a backdrop of euphoric, evolving pads. Octo Pi’s technical ability is something to behold which makes him a Cubicles favourite, year on year. For 2023 he’s brought along some of his friends to join the fun including K Jah, alongside Collette Warren who is mostly known for her works in drum & bass as a vocalist and top-line songwriter. She has worked with a number of well-known producers in this genre including Mercury Award-winning Roni Size, DJ Marky, Skeptical and many others. Ben Soundscape is a drum & bass producer from Bristol. As well as producing solo tracks for labels like Dispatch, V Recordings and Prestige Music, he’s also one-half of The Insiders and one-third of Mosaic.
