Introducing… T>I

The place to go for all things drum ‘n’ bass and electronic, you’ll want to stay dancing in the Cubicles ‘til the cows come home. Every year our programming team hand-select the best in live performers, rising star DJs and established legends. We want to shine a particular spotlight on one gentleman we’re looking forward to welcoming to the Farm, hot off the back of a digital set at 2021’s Into the Valley.

T>I aka Mat South is one of the finest producers and DJs to come out of East Anglia in living memory. His stage name stands for Total Integration: Total, reflecting his encyclopedic knowledge of his craft and the depths of drum ‘n’ bass history he plumbs to formulate the electronic future you hear coming through his tracks; Integration, to represent the hypnotising and immersive atmosphere of his sets. Running the gamut from heavy, raw and moody to joyous, uplifting and even funky, T>I knows how to handle a crowd: we promise that once you’ve witnessed him playing, you’ll be chasing that experience for months to come. And you’ll be chasing far and wide: T>I is a busy guy, playing at the most discerning d’n’b events across the UK, performing alongside industry heavyweights like Ed Solo and Benny Page. 2021 saw a steady output from this prolific producer, undaunted by COVID cancellations and lockdown restrictions. He released his collab EP Integrated 2.0 in July, which quickly climbed to number 4 in the Beatport drum ‘n’ bass charts. Not one to rest on his laurels, he dropped the EP The Locksmith in September, whose ‘V style samples and knocking bass’ transport you to ‘some sweaty underground Bristol rave in 2045’ (Data Transmission); to top it all off, his remix of ‘All Ganja Man’ by Serum (ft. Spyda) even nabbed him the Best Track award in the 2021 German Drum ‘n’ Bass Awards!

Paying homage to the giants of drum ‘n’ bass who came before him while relentlessly pursuing the sound of tomorrow, T>I is certainly one to watch – and luckily for you, you’ll be able to catch him B2B with Saxxon in the Hidden Valley this year…
