Groove to reggae by day at Elephant’s Grave

Groove to reggae by day at Elephant’s Grave

Chapman’s Circus may be long gone but the weird and wonderful vibes remain…

By day, you’ll be grooving to dub and reggae with the likes of Ital Sounds, who will be bringing everything from classic roots to modern scrub-a-dub sounds like Mungos Hi Fi and Steppas’ music.

Drumlove perform as a full drumming troupe, a sight and sound to behold. Go With The Flo, Juggla and DJ Shogun, bring a collective 46 years worth of reggae experience to the decks, so expect some winding grooves and plenty of dubby flavour. On Friday night DJ Feva is bringing his unique combination of hip-hop skills and reggae knowledge to drop bass heavy beats and live mash ups that shake up dance floors from Birmingham to Brazil. And expect something a little tropical from MadMax.

Ital Sounds will be joined over the weekend by Bristol-based Boom Sound, bringing underground reggae in the form of Fat Stash, who have championed artists such as Gardna and Uncle Dugs, are also joining the party to pump out some serious reggae, dancehall and dubwise tunes. They’ll be representing alongside KreedHold Tight Collective, and many more.
