Depending on whereabouts in the UK – or indeed the world – you are, you might have caught a whiff of the Great May Heatwave of 2026. Whether you were drinking tinnies in the park or eating ice lollies in your garden – or maybe you’re more of a wild swimming kind of person, whatever floats your boat – for a blissful (if sunburnt) week, millions of Brits were getting in a dry run for summer. And for a few thousand of them, that means a dry run for Into the Valley which – guess what – is only one month away today.
The countdown is on: it’s time to start dusting off your pearls, ironing your sharpest suit and swotting up on this year’s line-up so you know which stage to make a beeline for as soon as those gates swing open on the seventeenth of July. Our construction crew have been working hard transforming the Farm from a dusty corner of Herefordshire into something out of the Roaring Twenties, as we invite you to travel through time and space with us in the Time Resonator, leaping back a century to the glitz and glamour of the Jazz Age. It’s one of their toughest challenges yet – but they’ve taken us to outer space, the bottom of the ocean and to the Land of Oz in the last few years alone, so how hard can a hundred years be, eh?
But you can be the judge of that when you step back in time with us in just a few short weeks. Will our speakeasies be up to scratch? Are our flapper dresses scandalously short enough?
