Stories of the Wild West

Emerging Theatre Company Paper People Theatre premiere Stories of the Wild West at Nozstock 2013, combining images, music and story telling to reflect & even imitate famous and stereotypical images based on the idioms and traditions of the Spaghetti Western and Western genre. Bringing play to everyone, the show not only invites but requires the audience to become key players in the story. Stories from the Wild West tells a classic Western tale, complete with a villain, a hero and a damsel (of sorts). It is a piece designed for children and adults alike and is one of our most accessible and fun projects

Paper People Theatre seek to create and unravel worlds and their inhabitant. Their work is visually rich and vibrant, often silent and always centred around human interactions and relationships. These relationships are explored largely through movement and the interplay between us as performers and our fabricated landscape.
