Travelling to Nozstock 2019

Travelling to Nozstock 2019

It’s almost time to pack up your bags, put on your red ruby slippers and follow the yellow brick road to the wonderful land of Nozstock. A bit stuck on how to get here? No problem. It may not have been straightforward for Dorothy, but it certainly will be for you.

We’re nestled in the rolling hills of Herefordshire, but don’t let the windy country roads put you off. We’re just next door to the beautiful market town of Bromyard, with an abundance of green, eco-friendly and efficient ways to get here.

One of the best ways to get to us (and look after the planet, tick!) is by car share. Go solo, or travel together with other adventurous souls looking to explore life outside of Kansas and small, fluffy dogs. Other Nozstockers are using GoCarShare to fill up the empty seats in their cars, and they’ll be coming from all across the country. You can hop into a seat or offer up your spare ones on the GoCarShare Nozstock page.

If you are travelling by car, with pals old or new, remember to book yourself a car parking pass before you get here.

If you’re feeling a little more pro-public transport, then do we have news for you. We offer a free (I know, right) shuttle bus from the centre of Bromyard (Pump Street bus stop) that will follow the glittery road to the Land of Noz (wizards not included) and drop you at the official drop off point by Bromyard Rugby Club. This is also a really nifty drop-off spot for those getting a lift, so you don’t get stuck in a queue!

There are also local bus services that travel between Hereford and Worcester to Bromyard Pump Street Bus Stop on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday. Take a look at the bus times before you travel by visiting the DRM website here.

We’re also running a coach service for the eco-warriors and planet-conscious folk who do their bit for the environment. Coaches will be running to and from the festival site to Hereford, Worcester, Bristol, and London. You can make your wondrous journey to the Emerald City even easier by booking your tickets in advance here.

Routes and prices are as follows:

Hereford Train Station

  • Running Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, Monday 21st July
  • £7 per journey

Bristol Temple Meads

  • Running Thursday 18th and Monday 21st July
  • £20 per journey

London St. Pancras

  • Running Thursday 18th and Monday 21st July
  • £22 per journey

And for the real eco warriors amongst you, you can even ride your bike to Nozstock! Traverse the beautiful Herefordshire countryside at your own pace, soaking up the sights and smells. We can’t guarantee sightings of lions, bears and tigers until you reach the mystical Land of Noz, but we can guarantee cows. Lots of them.

When you arrive on site, cyclists will receive secure bicycle parking by the wristband exchange as well as a pat on the back (and maybe a gold star). You can plan your route here, on Bike Hub’s free route planner.

We may be tucked away in the Hidden Valley, but we can’t be missed. For the all important postcode and even more travel details, head to https://www.nozstock/about/directions/. We’re a pretty chilled bunch here (and that pesky Tinman keeps stealing our parts!) so times and schedules may be subject to change. Be flexible, be cool and keep checking arrangements before you set off so your adventure down the yellow brick road to the Wizard of Noz is easy peasy.
