Consider yourself part of the furniture? Come volunteer at Nozstock 2016…
We’re sure that any repeat offender worth their salt will be well aware of the Noz mythology, but, for the uninitiated … Nozstock began 18 years ago as a BBQ hosted by the Nosworthy family which slowly but steadily got out of hand until it morphed into the ramshackle three-day-fun-fest you all know and love today.
While Nozstock nowadays may masquerade as a professional affair which can hold its own amongst the big’uns, we take a great deal of pride in maintaining that all-in-it-together, laughs and bevs with your mates atmosphere which comes from the festival’s origins as a private party for family and friends. And that’s where you come in!
Every year we recruit a talented and diverse team of festival volunteers to help with the creation and delivery of the beautiful beast that is Nozstock. Whether you’re a newcomer to the farm or an old hand looking to get a more hands-on experience of the festival, we welcome you with open arms.
What’s more, the success of the festival itself is completely dependent on our volunteers, who keep punters watered by working behind our bars, sell them precious mementoes of their weekend from the merch stand and help weary travellers find their way and enjoy the festival as stewards.
Volunteers will be expected to work between 12-16 hours over the weekend which, in exchange for a behind-the-scenes view of the Hidden Valley, free entry to the festival itself and the chance to make a bunch of new mates seems like a pretty sweet deal. It can be hard graft at times but the satisfaction of knowing you’ve played a part in keeping the farm ticking over makes those nights of freedom and dancing all the sweeter. So if you’re up for a good time and the chance to save a wodge of dosh in your summer hols then look no further than our volunteer application page …
