2016: First line up announcement!

All ye welcome to the Ancient World of Nozstock! It’s happened, that day is here and we’ve got one helluva line up for you to sink your nashers into… fanfare please…

We’ve only gone and got the Mesozoic, the major MCs, the massive JURASSIC 5. From the concrete streets of California to the grassy knolls of Rowden Paddocks, J5 will be rockin something fierce. For hardcore dub lovers, Gentleman’s Dub Club have a reputation for delivering the most fast-paced and energetic shows and after headlining our Garden stage in 2011, the Noz team are ear to ear chuffed to welcome Foreign Beggars back.

Manchester-based producer Dub Phizix and Strategy promise to bring the bad juju to the farm whilst self-acclaimed “Pyro-Circus Rave Massive”; Slamboree, are a one-of-a-kind ensemble. Bouncing onto the Orchard stage for a stomper of a 2 tone ska set; The Stiff Joints have swooped onto the festival scene and are not leaving in a hurry. They’re joined on The Orchard Stage by those bedraggled gentleman, Tankus The Henge, with a sound that draws from everything from rock and ragtime to reggae and blues. Not forgetting, the funky, one man beat-box harmonica eruption that is Son of Dave and if raccous, swaggering New Orleans sound is your thing than don’t miss The Hot 8 Brass Band.

Presenting Dr Syntax with Pete Cannon on the ones and twos. Sound system massive: Channel Ones fusion of dub and reggae tops the heavyweight championships, get ready to get down. 25 year DJ champion Randall bring riddims both archaic and new school. Fed on a diet of pureed swan and old-fashioned British madness, Professor Elemental will be doing something weird we’re sure. Repping from our beloved Bristol; Split Prophets are a hip-hop collective with a lot to say and not forgetting 3 times UK DMC champion JFB  and veteran reggae wonder Solo Banton.

Over in The Rave Yard, multi-award winning Friction will smash the Cubicles whilst DJ Marky will have you old school dnb lovers on your feet. Comin’ straight atcha from London town is Dimension. He may be young but that says nothing for his prowess behind the decks. At the top of their game, we’ve also got, Ulterior Motive b2b with Jubei, Rene LaVice with Stapleton and The Prototypes sweeping in with an unprecedented level of bass face. Teddy Killerz’ glitchy drum and bass adds a zesty twist for you shape throwers whilst further action comes from Rockwell and a back-to-back set with Xtrah and Stealth.

We’ve also got the amazing Eva Lazarus, Harlieghblu, Jenna and The Gs, The Lovely Eggs, Kagoule, Houdini Dax, Youth Man, Shanty, Castles, Amoss, Octo Pi, Sam Redmore, Beatwell and so much more! Check out our line up page for full details on what’s in store for you in The Hidden Valley. And remember, there’s more to come…
