Welcome welcome welcome! Don’t be shy! Get down our tunnel and see what’s inside The Cabinet of Lost Secrets for 2019; back for more quirky, multi-roomed mischief and with a host of massive world grooves, beats, performance and other surprises, what are you waiting for?

Make your way down into our burrow on Friday and get into the swing gently with powerful spoken word from Birmingham performer Joe Cook, followed by a quick trim or fluff from those cheeky Demon Barbers of the Cabinet, (something for the weekend sir?). Then get your groove going with our resident DJ funksters – including Funky Navigation and Beatwell & Dante bringing the best latin, afro, funk, disco and soul to the garden every day from afternoon onwards.

Opening up our main stage on Friday, we have some gorgeous roots reggae from Kingsley Salmon and the Occupation, then get soul-tastic in time for Bristol’s The Bare Souls. Stepping up the gypsy/balkan/party beats, Punch the Sky are next, followed by a serious dose of funk-punk from Manchester’s Ask My Bull. A small busk style interlude with bizarre tin man the Junkoactive Wasteman and friends, and then our Friday night tops off with the simply fabulous and super amazingly strange Henge – if you haven’t seen them then you really need to and we feel that the Cabinet will be a special place for this!

Taking us on an electronic and beatsy journey, we bring Worcestershire and BBC 6 Music lad, Inwards to the mix.  Look out for the weird and wonderful Collective Unconscious as well as some other strange characters…..

Saturday we start up the action with our resident sing-a-long favourite Play it again Dan warming up those vocal cockles, plus the Demon Barbers, scissors at the ready and Dj-ing in the garden where you also might stumble upon Larsey and his cosmic afro disco-party.

The main room is opened by a special tombola crazy set from everyone’s favourite festival band, The Stiff Joints.London’s 7Suns are next with big latin and world moves, then only the slickest of soul from The Happy DaggersYear of the Dog follow on with some stellar swing sounds, then those rowdy Eastern European & Greek inspired bunch Hallouminati are back to the Cabinet again to insure you move and wiggle your wobble!

Catch the Junkoactive Wasteman doing his tin-thing for a second time around, before the darkly beat-heavy electronic Rosebud brings a close to our Saturday evening.

Feeling creative on the fine Sunday morning? Hop on over to our Life Drawing Class for some time out of the festival madness. Play it again Dan & the Demon Barbers pop back for some Sunday lunching. The garden rocks it with our fabulous DJ’s in the caravan, before we welcome the stunningly unusual Boss Morris for some not-so-traditional hypnotic dancing. A good dose of African and afrobeat rhythms from Olubundi, then ska-skank it with Birmingham band Lobster before we ease back into our loungers for some slick jazz and funk courtesy of Bristol’s finest Snazzback.

That only leaves room for one more thing – and that’s our Sunday night funk jam with Funky Navigation, to totally groove, move and shimmy into the rest of the night.
